Vase Helena - Small - 4x4 cm
Why one big vase with dozens of flowers when you can spread all the flowers everywhere in the house with dozens of Helena vases?! Helena can also be used perfectly as a cutting station! How can I clean my product?
Our products are made of gypsum composite. There are different types of this material (such as concrete), but the type we use has been tested for over 40 years in architecture/design/artwork and film set design. Although it is very strong, soft to the touch and waterproof, it can of course get dirty. For aesthetic reasons we chose an uncoated matt version, so as with uncoated ceramic or terracotta, discolouration can occur. So avoid contact with dirt & water on the outside of our products as much as possible.
Did your product get dirty? How do you make your gypsum composite products clean again? First try to wash off the dirt with water and possibly a little very mild soap. If that doesn't work, very fine sandpaper (1000+) can help. Finish your sanded product by wetting the entire product and drying it completely and evenly with a soft towel.
How can I remove candle wax from my products?
Our products all have a very soft and matte appearance which is aesthetically very nice but has the disadvantage that removing stains on uncoated products is not completely possible.
However, there are 2 ways to remove most candle wax from our products:
- Method 1: You need to put your product with wax in the freezer until the wax is frozen. It should then pop off the product quite easily.
- Method 2: In this method, the wax is heated with a hairdryer until it softens again. Absorb the wax with a dry cloth by pressing the cloth onto the product while heating the product with a hairdryer. Now clean the entire product with a mild detergent and the soft side of a sponge. Finish by drying the product completely and evenly with a soft towel. In both cases, an imprint of the wax will still be (slightly) visible on the material of your product, but the wax itself will be well removed.
General care tips
Do not use our decorative products to store/display unwrapped food unless specifically indicated as suitable for food. Our coasters are treated with a coating but since no coating is 100% effective, you should wipe up spills immediately to prevent stains. Wine, coffee, tea, cola etc. are quite acidic & corrosive. You can compare gypsum composite products with a beautiful concrete worktop. A concrete worktop is incredibly beautiful and strong but requires care and is sensitive to stains.
Practical pot tips
- Plant your plant in our pots without water and with dry soil so as not to dirty the outside of the pot. When you are done, you can water as much as the plant needs.
- As our pots do not have drainage holes, we recommend that you place a small amount of drainage stones in the bottom of your plant pot before planting to prevent your plant's roots from rotting when overwatered.
- If you do not use drainage stones, always make sure the soil is moist but not wet.

All products are shipped with Bpost, DPD, DHL or UPS. As a customer you can track the order via track & trace of the relevant courier.
In the event that the shipment is damaged in transit, House Raccoon will resend or refund the order upon proof of shipping damage (clear photos are a must). Customer is responsible for all import duties and taxes when the package crosses international borders. Please note that this also includes the UK after Brexit.

Return/Refund
The customer can return a product in its original condition and packaging within 14 days after receiving the shipment. Custom-made products, discounted products, personalized products cannot be returned. The return costs are to be paid by the customer.
